Car Roster
This informal roster of EJ&E rolling stock was based on rail cars that were identified by either the BNSF Railroad Equipment Characteristics database or CSXT Railcar Fleet Details database. It was assembled from a scan of all 5-digit car numbers, performed in mid-March of 2000. The mechanical designation and AAR rail car type codes are shown in parenthesis. Harold Driscoll did all of the work compiling this freight car information. There was a total of 499 | 9 rail cars at the end of the search. Sadly, Harold passed away in June of 2000. I believe this database was one of the last projects he worked on before his passing. Apparently his railroad site will continue to exist as a tribute to his work.
