Notes: #672 and #703 are pictured on the isthmus that runs across Heidecke Lake to Collins power station. Empty coal cars that had been in storage there were to be picked up and brought up the Illinois River Line.

Notes: This unit was originally slug T-6, which had the form of an actual EMD 'Calf'. It was rebuilt into the very unique looking "CC1" around 10/05. The rebuilt unit was designed to be used for the hump and yard work.

Notes: #444 is seen with quite a bit of hazard tape applied. This is most likely a precaution for when it works in the Gary Works mills. The #444 and #445 are unique in that they have very roomy cabs
