This informal roster of present day EJ&E rolling stock is based on rail cars that were identified by either the BNSF Railroad Equipment Characteristics or CSXT Railcar Fleet Details. It was assembled from a scan of all 5-digit car numbers, performed in mid-March of 2000. The mechanical designation and AAR rail car type codes are shown in parenthesis. Harold Driscoll did all of the work compiling the freight car information. There was a total of 4999 rail cars at the end of the search. Sadly, Harold passed away in June of 2000. I believe this database was one of the last projects he worked on before his passing. Apparently his railroad site will continue to exist as a tribute to his work. The Caboose Roster info has been collected from various sources, and also with the help of numerous contributors. Cab numbers in orange are still in service. This is only a *known* list of cabs... There are probably some missing.
